The big idea: every minute you log is tied to a real task, so your hours are accurate and feed payroll automatically. Work one task at a time, start the timer, and the rest takes care of itself.
1 Signing in
First time — set your own password
- Chris sends you an invite. Look for an email from Avasol saying you’ve been invited to create a user on
ops.avasol.com. Don’t see it? Check spam. - Tap the link, choose your own password, and you’re in.
After that — signing in
- On your phone or computer, go to
ops.avasol.com. - Sign in with your Avasol email and the password you set.
- Forgot it? Tap “Forgot password?”, enter your email, and you’ll get a reset link. You can also change your password anytime from your account menu.
2 My Tasks — your queue
When you sign in you land on My Tasks — your list, already sorted so the most important task is at the top. You work top-down.
- Tasks are grouped by when they’re due — Do today, Do next week, and so on.
- A red due date means it’s overdue — do those first.
- Tap any task to open it.
The one-tap way to begin: opens your top-priority task, ready to work. Already timing? It reads “Resume worklist” and jumps you back.
3 Working a task — the traffic lights
Open a task and you’ll see a big timer with large buttons. They work like traffic lights:
Starts the clock on this task.
Pauses the clock for a break or interruption — your total keeps its place.
Marks the task done and stops the clock.
Finish and move on
Finishes this task, stops its clock, and jumps straight to the next one. Your main button for working through the day.
Skips to the next task without completing this one — come back to it later.
When your queue is empty, you’ll see “You’re all caught up.”
4 Notes — say what happened
Every task has a Notes area. Use it for anything worth remembering — a deviation, a problem, an observation, “used lot 240712 instead.”
- Shared — everyone on the task can see them.
- Permanent — they’re a log, so add a new one rather than editing or deleting.
- Stamped with your name and the time, automatically.
5 Your time & timesheet
You don’t do anything special for payroll — your logged time is your timesheet.
- Everything you Start / Pause / Complete builds your hours for the pay period.
- Missed starting the timer? You can add time manually for a task.
- At the end of the period your supervisor reviews and approves your hours, flagging anything that looks off first.
6 Quick tips
Built for your phone. Big buttons, one task at a time — use it right at the bench.
One timer at a time. No multitasking the clock.
Work top-down. The top of My Tasks is always what to do next.
Complete & Next is your friend. It keeps you moving without hunting for the next task.
